Why aren't women given the same space in science and medicine that men are?

The lack of understanding of the female body is astounding, Gaslighting us into thinking the pain we are feeling is normal Lack of resources and information.

Are we too complex?

Too hard to "figure out."

Men are simplified.

I know more about a male trial of birth control that was tested this year than the female birth control that was invented in the 50s,

1950s, 3 men solved it all...

Men could take a pill

You see liberation I see oppression in the form of women having to manipulate the very biology that makes us female while men go about unscathed.

We still don't know what the pill will do to us, 70 years later no research on the flaws of this "answer" we were given:

Debilitating depression

Blood clots

Strokes

Heart attacks

Cancer

Death

Pain on your period? Take birth control.

Acne? Take birth control.

Want to have sex? Take birth control.

The idea that women are always the thing that needs to be fixed, and the impregnator never sees the same pain needs to change.

We keep asking questions, but still no answers.

Our emotions aren't the problem, the system is.

We want answers not pills

Let's leave Freud's idea of female hysteria in the books.

Complex,

The idea of being too complex.

Complicated,

Too complicated to research.

Too much,

Form of systematic discrimination.

Our bodies are an unknown entity to the public.

We want answers, not pills
